CRYPT

CRYPT Book 1: The Gallows Curse (out now)

Meet Jud Lester, star agent with CRYPT, the Covert Response Youth Paranormal Team

When a crime is committed and the police are at a loss, CRYPT is called in to figure out whether something paranormal is at work. Jud is their star agent.

Jud, unwillingly paired with Bex, has just landed his biggest case yet… there are atrocities in London, the like of which not even the police have seen before. And there are no explanations, no evidence and no suspects. The only think that links the attacks is the fact that survivors all claim to have seen ghosts – 17th century highwaymen to be exact.

The Gallows Curse is a fantastic blend of teenage spies, horror and the paranormal for fans of Cherub, Young Bond and Darren Shan.

Testimonials for The Gallows Curse:

‘This book has to be the goriest, scariest book I’ve read this year. It was gruesome, grotesque and barbaric – and I LOVED every minute of it.’

‘Fast-paced, gory, gruesome and smart, this first CRYPT novel is high action from start to finish.’

‘The Gallows Curse is an impressive debut from Andrew Hammond. This is sure to be a big hit with horror fans of all ages and I’m already looking forward to the sequel.’

CRYPT Book 2: Traitor’s Revenge (out March 2012)

‘We’re coming. The martyrs are awakening. Spirits are gathering. This will be our time…’

Strange shapes are taking form in London and York, emerging from the shadows, terrifying the residents. And who is the man who lies in a darkened bedroom listening to a voice that seems to speak from the darkness itself?’

Jud and Bex are dispatched to the medieval city of York. And the horrors they find there will rock the very foundations of democracy. But what is the link? Why are the same ghosts now appearing in London? And who is ‘The Master’?

Another gripping case for the CRYPT – and a race against time.
